Coachiny is a software platform that lets fitness coaches plan training and nutrition for their athletes and follow their progress, and lets athletes follow the plan their coach prescribes. Coachiny is operated by Yahya Bahloul, Tunisia ("Coachiny", "we").
By creating an account or using Coachiny you accept these terms and our privacy policy. If you do not accept them, do not use Coachiny.
1. What Coachiny is — and is not
Coachiny provides the tools: calendars, templates, a food and exercise library, check-ins, messaging and notifications. The coaching itself — the programmes, the meal plans, the advice — comes from your coach, who is solely responsible for it.
Coachiny does not provide medical, dietary or therapeutic advice and is not a medical device. Consult a doctor before starting a training or nutrition programme, especially if you have a health condition, are pregnant or are recovering from an injury. Stop exercising and seek medical help if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. Never use Coachiny for an emergency.
2. Who can use Coachiny
You must be 18 or older, or have the agreement of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf. You confirm this when you accept these terms.
- Coaches create their own coach space by signing in with a Google account.
- Athletes join only through an invitation from an active coach. An athlete cannot use Coachiny without a coach.
One account is for one person. Keep access to your Google account secure: whoever controls it controls your Coachiny account.
3. The beta, and price
Coachiny is currently in a free beta. Features may change, appear or be removed, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. We do our best to keep it running and your data safe, but during the beta it is provided without any guaranteed level of service.
If we introduce paid plans, we will tell coaches in advance. Nothing you pay for will be charged without your explicit agreement.
4. For coaches
- You are responsible for the programmes, plans and advice you give, and for having the qualifications your activity requires where you practise.
- Payments between you and your athletes happen outside Coachiny. Coachiny only lets you record them; it does not collect, hold or guarantee any money.
- You may invite only people who agreed to be coached by you. Do not invite anyone to Coachiny without their knowledge.
- You may upload only content you have the right to use — exercise videos, photos, texts.
- Your plan has an athlete limit. If a limit is lowered, the athletes added most recently beyond it are frozen (they keep reading access but cannot log) until a seat is free again.
5. Athlete data — the coach’s duties
As a coach you see your athletes’ training, nutrition, measurements, check-ins, progress photos and messages. This is sensitive health information. You agree to:
- use it only to coach that athlete, and for no other purpose;
- keep it confidential: never publish it, sell it, share it with third parties, or copy it out of Coachiny for another use, without the athlete’s explicit consent;
- not use an athlete’s photos for advertising or social media without their separate, written consent;
- tell us at once if you believe someone accessed your account or your athletes’ data without permission.
When a coaching relationship ends — you end it, the athlete leaves, or the athlete moves to another coach — your access to that athlete’s data ends automatically. The athlete keeps their history.
We may suspend a coach account that misuses athlete data, and we will act on an athlete’s complaint.
6. For athletes
- Your coach decides your plan. Follow it within your own limits; you remain responsible for your own health and for what you choose to do.
- Progress photos are optional. You choose to share them, and you can withdraw that consent at any time from the app — doing so deletes all your photos.
- When your membership ends you keep reading access to everything you logged. A coach who invites you again resumes the relationship.
7. Acceptable use
Do not: break the law through Coachiny; harass, threaten or insult anyone in messages; upload illegal, violent, sexual or hateful content; try to access accounts or data that are not yours; probe, overload or attack the service; scrape it; or resell access to it.
We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and report illegal activity to the authorities.
8. Your content
What you create or upload — templates, exercises, foods, logs, photos, messages — remains yours. You give Coachiny the permission it needs to store, process and display it to the people you share it with, only to run the service.
Plans placed on an athlete’s calendar are copies: the athlete keeps what they were given even if the coach later edits or deletes the template.
9. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from the app. Deletion takes effect after 14 days, during which you can cancel it; after that your data is permanently erased as described in the privacy policy.
A coach deleting their account may choose to keep their library (templates, exercises and foods) for 12 months, so it comes back if they sign up again with the same email.
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
10. Liability
Coachiny is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for injuries, health outcomes or results of any training or nutrition programme, for the content coaches provide, for disputes or payments between coaches and athletes, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms. When a change is material, the apps will ask you to accept the new version before you continue.
These terms are governed by Tunisian law. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably is subject to the competent courts of Tunis.
